​Invercargill Police Kaitakawaenga Iwi Liaison Officer Simon Kairau, of Invercargill, is now based at Nga Kete Matauranga Pounamu Charitable Trust’s office.
Mr Kairau will be based at the office every Tuesday as part of our commitment to Whanau Ora approaches in our work and in strengthening relationships with colleagues.

​Nga Kete’s Supported Youth Living House has moved locations.
The new environment supports Whanau Ora Navigators to have a greater capacity for more one-on-one time with individuals.
The house was opened in May, 2014, to support unsupported youth aged between 17 and 25. It enables young people to live in a stable environment while they complete education or search for employment.
