A “silly mistake” led to job loss and mounting bills for Invercargill man Ross Bradshaw, but Nga Kete helped him to get his life back on track, he says.
Mr Bradshaw self-referred to Nga Kete’s Whanau Ora programme for help to update his CV and search for a new job.
“I’d lost my job. I was feeling really down. Financially I’d been struggling. It was tough.”
Mr Bradshaw has been a client at Nga Kete for about two months, and while here has participated in the P.A.T.H. programme to focus on his goals, updated his CV, visited recruitment agencies with Whanau Ora Navigator Doreen Whakamoe, and in three weeks time he will travel and move to Christchurch where he has secured a new job position.
Mr Bradshaw says he’s now on the life journey he wanted to be on and sincerely appreciates the help he has received from Nga Kete and Doreen Whakamoe.
Nga Kete has helped put his life back on track, he says.
